I run 275-60-15 radials on my stock gn wheels- will rub the frame a bit if sliding around a corner, but o.k if driven easy. I have aluminum drums- if you have steel drums they will rub more.  they fit nice with a 3/8 wheel spacer.

Be warned that it does jack up the back of the car, if you have decent springs in it. Gives it the cat-in-heat dragrace look if you're into that sort of thing. If your springs are sacked they will rub. I didn't like the look of them and put 275/50's (26") instead. They look better but are just a tad short; the best looking tire is about a 295/50 (27") but they tend to be too wide for a 7" rim. 275/60's (28") also kill the bottom end a little and have a longer footprint, making it easier to launch. It's pretty easy to blow away the 275/50's, but maybe I'm trying too hard  ;D.

I don't think I have a picture and I have my 17" wheels on now.  if you search on turbobuicks.com you can likely find some pictures. good luck.

Are you wanting "MT Drag Radials" or MT Street Radials"

The street radials will hook exremely well on a well prepped track but not necessarily so on a poorly prepped track. MT street radials are much more stabile on the top end too. MT Streets are getting 1.28 60 foots @ 176 mph on some of the top performing GN's. Two 7 second GN's that I know of  ;D

On a poorly prepped track, the slicks will launch better.

What is the rest of your combo? 275/50's might be ok if you want to rev the snot out of it. I changed from 275/50 to 275/60's when I was 115 in the quarter and gained 3mph to 118.

Ive got a pt54, alky, ported heads, smal cam upgrade, 50lb injectors, 3"dp, 3500 stall converter, large front mount, turbo tweak chip.  It ran mid 12's a few summers ago at 115 with a really crappy 60.  Id like the extra height of the 60s for the extra mph.

What converter are you running? Your turbo is capable of low 120's no problemo....
